the Young Adults Ministry 

at Trinity Baptist Church (TBC)

It is a resource for singles and marrieds 

from 18 years old to early 30's

This introductory post shares our thoughts and hopes for the young adults God brings to TBC. 

At the end of this post are some links and information about ongoing opportunities and upcoming events. 
On the 18th of each month, there will be a new post that contains updates, resources, relevant books, other resources, and a spiritual growth challenge.

There will be resources specifically focused on young singles OR young marrieds.

Other resources are generally for any young person. 

We want to help young adults,

in this ever-changing world, know that God and His Word are

a shield for everyone who goes to Him for safety and protection 

(Psalm 18:30).

"Joyfully Pursue the Living God" is on Trinity's walls and bulletin

and it is what we want to help young adults and everyone do.

God designed life to be lived this way

because of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, 

through the power of the Holy Spirit, and 

in the community of believers, called the church, 

that God provided to equip us to do the work of the ministry.

We pray and desire to see the young adult ministry do 

what EVERY ministry of a church should do 

according to Ephesians 4:12 & 13  

Equip the saints, young and old, "for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ."  

Here are two church-wide opportunities at TBC designed to help everyone grow.

• The weekly service provides opportunities to sing praise to God, hear God's word preach, and connect with other believers.
• Adult Christian Education classes provide specific teaching on specific books of the Bible and specific topics. Fall 2023's combined study is "We are the Church."

Here are two specific opportunities for people to connect at TBC

• Young Adults group links to the young adult small group on Churchcenter.
• Young Marrieds group links to the young marrieds group on Churchcenter.

One of the ways we do this is by providing a variety of opportunities to come together

Finally, and even more important than all of the scheduled studies and events is our encouraging and praying for one another to grow closer and closer to God as we become more and more like Christ.
